Bluestorm aims for hat-trick in PR awards

Bluestorm has once again been shortlisted for two awards from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Our work has been nominated in two categories of the CIPR’s Yorkshire and Lincolnshire PRide Awards, showcasing work from every team in our integrated agency, from marketing and advertising to design, new media and PR.

Bluestorm’s campaign for East Yorkshire’s Dove House Hospice has been shortlisted in the Not For Profit Category, while our work for popular factory shopping outlet Hornsea Freeport has earned us a place among the finalists in the Integrated Communications category.

More than 1,000 entries were received by the CIPR for this year’s awards, which span 12 regions of the UK and are judged by a national panel of industry experts.

This is the third consecutive year that we’ve been shortlisted for a CIPR PRide Award. In 2009 and 2010 we won gold awards for our work with Holland’s Pies and GreenPalm respectively. Fingers crossed for a hat-trick come November, when the presentation dinner will be held in Leeds.

Commenting on the PRide shortlist, CIPR chief executive Jane Wilson said: “The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the best PR and campaigns from the profession across the UK. To be shortlisted for an award demonstrates exemplary achievement, impact and value – immediately putting their work in the spotlight. Congratulations to everyone for reaching this stage.”
