Bluestorm partners local charity
As part of our dedication to supporting local causes, we are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with Hull and East Yorkshire Mind (HEY Mind) as a charity partner.
The organisation provides support and services for people suffering from mental health issues in the Hull and East Yorkshire area and, as part of our new partnership, Bluestorm will be helping to raise funds for HEY Mind throughout the year.
The support from Bluestorm comes at a great time, as the charity has recently moved to new, state-of-the-art premises at Wellington House, on Beverley Road, close to Hull city centre. It will now be able to provide clients with access to newly-refurbished areas, including a larger room for day and evening opportunities, a more private space to meet with staff and better-equipped training rooms.
Bluestorm’s Managing Director Andrew Cawley, said:
“There’s a growing demand for mental healthcare and support in Hull and the East Riding, which means that charities such as HEY Mind are more important now than ever before.
“We wanted to get involved and help raise vital funds, so the charity can concentrate on its primary aim – offering fantastic service to the people they support.”
HEY Mind is a registered charity that was founded in 1976 and has over 30 years’ experience in providing mental health services to people in Hull and East Yorkshire. With over 60 staff, it is an independent local organisation that is committed to improving the mental health of people in the area.
