Senior PR Account Manager
Bluestorm is looking for an experienced PR account manager, with great client facing and account management skills. With at least five years’ agency experience, the successful candidate will have a good understanding of both B2B and B2C and, ideally, a track record in the food and education sectors
They will be able to devise, plan and manage the implementation of creative and effective:
- Public relations campaigns
- Media relations strategies
- Content marketing campaigns
- Social media engagement strategies
They will understand how to set smart objectives, devise effective methods of evaluation and report back to clients.
Our new colleague must also be a first class writer and editor, who can tackle news releases, feature contributions, articles, in-house magazines, case studies, brochures, leaflets, advertisements, reports, scripts, blogs, web content and multi-media presentations.
Great personal skills are a must have, to enable our new colleague to win the respect and confidence of colleagues and clients. They must also be a quick learner so that they can convince clients quickly that they understand their world.
We are looking for a commercially astute colleague, who is able to devise and manage campaign and activity budgets. They must also be an impressive organiser, who is able to manage their own time and juggle conflicting priorities.
A good understanding of the media is essential, as is the ability to earn the respect and trust of journalists, commentators and bloggers. Experience of crisis PR and how to help clients who run into difficulties would be a distinct advantage.
We need our new colleague to be digitally savvy, and a competent user of web content management systems and e-newsletter applications. With a good understanding of the interaction between on and offline PR activities, a working knowledge of Google Analytics and SEO would be helpful.
Internal communications, events and exhibitions are also high on the agenda for many of our clients, so experience in these areas will also be advantageous. We will also expect our new colleague to play an active role in helping us research, pitch for and win new business.
We are looking someone who can help us to grow our business - an ambitious, hard worker who enjoys working closely with colleagues to deliver great results for our clients.
