A global rebrand for Chaucer Foods

We have recently completed the global rebrand of Chaucer Foods – the Japanese-owned business which is best known for its production of freeze-dried fruits and baked croutons.

Chaucer put their rebranding project out to competitive tender, with the brief that their new brand should support their new vision and focus. This is to offer a far wider range of ingredients, products and solutions that create real value for its customers, by helping them to solve problems and realise opportunities in their market place.

We fought off stiff competition from agencies throughout the UK and in the States for the work, which included stakeholder research, brand articulation, logo design and development, the creation of a brand-new website, new corporate literature and the internal and external roll out of the new brand.

The website we have designed and built for Chaucer is packed full of useful content for food manufacturing and foodservice businesses’ new product innovation teams.

As well as details of over 75 different freeze-dried and baked ingredients, it contains information on food trends, organised by market sector and recipe ideas.

Supporting information on Chaucer’s sourcing strength, global manufacturing footprint, technical ability, standards and accreditations, complete the picture.
