Bluestorm shortlisted for DADI award
Bluestorm will be going head-to-head with some of the country’s leading not-for-profit organisations next month following another award shortlist for the Hull College website created by our digital team.
We are in the running for a Drum Award for Digital Industries (DADI) in the Not-For-Profit/Charity Website, App Or Campaign category, and up against organisations as Comic Relief, Unicef UK and the Royal Air Force Association.
This is a fantastic achievement, as John Basker, our Production Director, explains:
“It’s fantastic that we’ve been nominated for a DADI award, as once again it’s given us a great opportunity to showcase our creativity, technical innovation and our ability to create a great user experience.
“However, most importantly of all, it has proven that we can meet the objectives set by our client, specifically to create a website that supports recruitment. At the time of entering the award, numbers of student applications had risen by 60% on the same period last year.”
Matthew Lilley, of Hull College, had to say…
“The new site is playing a major role in helping potential students to search and apply for courses that match their future career aspirations. It has also achieved the secondary targets we have set for it – namely to develop a secure, online course database management system which provides accurate and complete information for the website.
“And we have radically improved our online careers advice and guidance through our creative presentation of careers information. Our ‘Career Coach’ web tool for each course is designed to show students the range of career types, job opportunities and earning potential.”
The DADI Awards will be presented on the 19th October at the Park Plaza in Westminster.
