Supporting Hull’s Homeless
When we heard about Andrew Smith and his work with the Hull Homeless Community Project, a charity that supports those in Hull forced to live on the streets, we contacted him to see if we could help.
He told us about his upcoming charity event - The Big Hull Hang Out and Sleep Out. The event, which runs from 5pm on Saturday 9th July until 7am on Sunday 10th July, will see over 150 people taking part in a sponsored sleep-out in Hull’s Queens Gardens to raise awareness and money for Hull’s homeless people. During the night there will be food and entertainment provided by local singers and comedians, such as Jed Salisbury, Roxie Royal and The Melodies. We agreed with him that we would try and raise awareness of his event through PR.
The Hull Homeless Community Project is a local charity that looks after those in Hull forced to live on the streets. They aim to support people who are homeless in Hull to find shelter, assistance with finances and support for mental and physical illness, as well as advice regarding family support.
We feel that this is a worthwhile cause and would urge our friends and clients to share this story and support the event if at all possible.
