Marketing Account Manager

We’re on the hunt for an energetic and innovative Account Manager to join our dynamic team at one of the North of England’s top integrated marketing agencies. This is your chance to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make a real impact.

As a key player in our Client Services team, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering outstanding marketing solutions and excellent customer service to our diverse client portfolio. You’ll bring your expertise in crafting and executing integrated marketing campaigns across both digital and traditional channels to the table.

You'll collaborate with our talented in-house teams – across design, digital, media, and production – while also building strong relationships with external suppliers and uncovering new business opportunities.

Your deep understanding of core marketing and communications tactics will help you engage a variety of audiences through a multitude of channels.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Drive excellence: Be a central figure in our business, championing continuous improvement, quality and client satisfaction.
  • Project management: Ensure client projects are flawlessly organised and managed from start to finish, including budget management and invoicing.
  • Creative solutions: Develop and deliver creative marketing solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.
  • Value maximisation: Achieve the best marketing outcomes and value for our clients.
  • Inspiring briefs: Create inspiring, informative and purpose-driven briefs and work closely with internal teams to bring projects to life.
  • Prompt responses: Address client requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Cross-selling: Confidently promote and cross-sell our services.
  • Campaign evaluation: Measure and report on the success of campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Significant experience in a senior marketing role within an agency or in-house environment.
  • Professional development: Industry qualifications or evidence of relevant professional development (desirable, not essential).

Key skills:

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills.
  • Copywriting: Strong copywriting, editing, and proof-reading skills.
  • Organisation: Exceptional administrative, organisational and time-management skills.
  • Budget management: Proficiency in budget management and invoicing.
  • Marketing strategy: Clear understanding of brand management, marketing strategy and campaign planning.
  • Initiative: Ability to take initiative, be self-motivated, and results focused.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Client relationships: Experience in developing and maintaining client/stakeholder relationships.
  • Campaign delivery: Demonstrable track record of delivering impactful multi-channel campaigns.
  • Strategic planning: Experience in strategic marketing planning and working with partners/stakeholders.
  • Tech proficient: Experience in using CMS, email marketing systems and CRM systems.
  • Sales contribution: Experience in contributing to new sales pitches/tender opportunities.
