About the role

Our Content Marketing Specialist will take a leading role in shaping and delivering content across a wide variety of topics – from complex technical and scientific subject matter to trend-led, creative campaigns. Working closely with our design, digital and advertising teams, you'll ensure content not only connects with the right audiences but drives meaningful results.

Confident in managing your own projects, you’ll hit the ground running – leading on content from day one, with the support of a collaborative and experienced team.

Your work will include:

  • Content creation: Crafting compelling, high-quality content – including website content, long-form articles, whitepapers, blogs, social copy, infographics, ads and more.
  • Content strategy: Playing a key role in shaping and evolving content strategies that support wider client marketing goals and audience needs.
  • Editorial planning: Leading the development and management of content calendars to ensure timely and strategic delivery.
  • SEO optimisation: Applying SEO best practices to improve search visibility, engagement, and performance.
  • Editing and quality assurance: Reviewing and refining content to maintain high standards of clarity, tone, accuracy and consistency.
  • Content distribution: Overseeing the roll-out of content across owned, earned and paid channels – including web, social and email.
  • PR and media relations: Supporting the development of PR materials, including press releases, media pitches and thought leadership articles – both online and offline.
  • Performance analysis: Monitoring and analysing content performance metrics using analytics tools to identify trends, insights and opportunities for improvement.
  • Trendspotting: Staying informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing and digital media, to apply to client work and share with colleagues across the business.

About you

With a degree in English, journalism, marketing, PR, or an essay-based subject and, ideally a minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant work experience, you will be the right person for us if you have:

  • Excellent copywriting skills with a strong editorial instinct and a flair for storytelling
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to align content with wider marketing goals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and digital content best practices
  • Confidence in using content management systems and analytics tools
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and great communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • A collaborative, team-focused approach
