We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment at one of the region’s leading full-service marketing agencies.

Working in the Client Services team, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional marketing solutions and customer service to Bluestorm’s portfolio of clients.

The successful candidate will have experience of implementing creative and effective integrated marketing campaigns, across both online and offline channels.

They will work closely with internal colleagues in the design, digital, media and production departments, as well as liaising with external suppliers and exploring and maximising new business opportunities.

They will have a good understanding of core marketing and communications tactics, including experience of effectively utilising a range of marketing channels to engage different audiences.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Playing a central role within the business, promoting excellence, continuous improvement, quality, value for money and client satisfaction
  • Ensuring that all client projects are organised and managed effectively – from initial scoping, through to delivery and budget management/ invoicing
  • Providing creative marketing solutions for clients using range of marketing tactics
  • Achieving the best marketing solutions and value for clients
  • Developing inspiring, informative and purpose-led briefs and working with colleagues internally (across design, digital, production and media) to bring these projects to life
  • Responding to client requests promptly and efficiently
  • Promoting and cross selling Bluestorm services with confidence
  • Evaluating and reporting on campaign successes
  • Contributing to relevant award bids
  • Seeking out new business opportunities
  • Attending networking events and obtaining new contacts/ sales leads
  • Co-ordinating, writing and responding to new sales enquiries, including pitches, tenders and PQQs
  • Helping to develop and manage Bluestorm’s sales/ CRM database

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience working in a senior marketing role either within an agency environment, or in-house
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • Industry qualification or evidence of relevant professional development (desirable, not essential)

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of developing and maintaining relationships with clients/ stakeholders
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering impactful and multi-channel campaigns to different audiences
  • Experience of strategic marketing planning, including working with partners/ stakeholders to implement activity
  • Experience of using CMS and email marketing systems
  • Experience of using CRM system for the development and management of data collection
  • Experience of contributing to new sales pitches/ tender opportunities and responding to official PQQs
