We’re more than a little excited to reveal we’ve been shortlisted TWICE in the 2019 CIPR Pride Awards (Yorkshire and Lincolnshire).
We’re finalists in the Not-for-Profit Campaign category, for our work with Green Port Hull and the Greenpower Education Trust on the promotion of the Hull Street Race.
Held in April, it was the UK’s first-ever closed road electric car race and a big event in the city’s calendar. We supported Green Port Hull, the main Hull Street Race partner, with PR and social media, to generate strong attendance and positive commentary about the event, and raise the profile of Greenpower Education Trust and their efforts in inspiring young people to consider STEM subjects and engineering careers.
We’re also in line for a gong in the Integrated Campaign category, recognising our efforts establishing our client AAK Foodservice’s Lion brand as a ‘Sauce Visionary’ – a leading name in sauce innovation and a go-to resource for industry trends and insights.
Lion’s sauces, dressings and condiments for the catering industry have earned a solid following – especially its ketchup, mayo, tartare sauce, BBQ and hot sauces. However, AAK wanted to help its caterer customers capitalise on the growing appetite for street food, plant-based diets and world cuisines, by expanding its globally inspired range of sauces – Lion’s World Flavours.
They also wanted to help their customers to claim their share of the vegan market, by introducing the first vegan mayo to be free from all commonly listed allergens. They asked for our help to present these new products to market – which we did, resulting in greater brand awareness across the industry and increased sales of sauces.
Being an integrated campaign, the PR team can’t take all the credit – they had fantastic support from Bluestorm’s digital, design, account management and production teams to make this campaign a success. A great team effort!
