Brief
We were appointed to deliver strategic, multi-channel marketing and communications for WiME, with the goal of raising awareness, driving event attendance, and shifting perceptions around women in engineering and manufacturing. The campaigns targeted women returning to work, school-age girls, educators and careers professionals, as well as employers looking to diversify their recruitment.
Outcome
Since 2016, our work with WiME has resulted in over 6,000 participants engaging with events, more than 50 businesses participating, and a marked increase in awareness of STEM careers for women across the Humber region. Campaigns such as #WomenLikeMe and #MakeADifference generated regional press coverage and broad online reach, supported by measurable increases in stakeholder and community engagement.
Craft CMS. Web Development. Web Design.
Web Design & Development
The website was developed to showcase the UK’s world-class centre for renewable energy, serving as a dynamic platform for both businesses and individuals seeking careers in this sector. Working in partnership with Siemens Gamesa, we created a dedicated jobs section highlighting career opportunities within the company. In addition, we integrated a comprehensive jobs board, enabling users to search and apply for positions directly through the site. The platform also hosts the local WiMe initiative, which promotes upcoming events and provides valuable resources to support women aiming to advance in the manufacturing and engineering industries.

Content Development. Digital PR. Multi-channel Marketing.
Marketing & Comms
Our team developed and executed a series of integrated campaigns, aligned with WiME’s goals and tailored to multiple audience segments. Each campaign combined strong creative with inclusive messaging to challenge stereotypes and promote opportunity. A wide range of materials was produced — from shareable digital content and branded print collateral to stakeholder toolkits — ensuring a consistent and compelling message across all platforms.
Support for WiME extended to promoting and managing key events, both online and in person. This included setting up Eventbrite registrations, managing promotional schedules, coordinating stakeholder communications, and providing live event support. As the initiative returned to in-person events post-COVID, we adapted quickly by building hybrid engagement models that retained and expanded audience reach.
Key features:
- Inclusive, audience-focused messaging aligned with long-term programme goals.
- Multi-channel assets designed for partners and employers to maximise reach.
- Flexible event models that maintained engagement during COVID-19 and beyond.
- Consistent growth in sign-ups, supported by smooth coordination of logistics, content, and follow-up communications.
Design. Design. Design.
Design
We delivered a wide range of creative design solutions for Green Port Hull, covering photography, venue layout floorplans, exhibition stands, digital event platforms, websites, online and offline advertising, e-marketing, and branded print and digital materials. Every element was carefully crafted to ensure consistency and impact, with the new WiME branding developed to be visually striking, fully on-brand, ERDF-compliant, and reflective of all partners while engaging diverse audiences effectively.

We ran paid and organic campaigns across social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, supported by email marketing and media outreach.
