Brief
To create a full brand identity for three new schemes run by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Humberside, with corresponding websites to be designed and built sharing a consistent CMS. We were also tasked with redesigning and developing a new Police and Crime Commissioner website with separate public-facing and internal sections, plus a smaller site for Youth Connect โ an activity portal for young people in the Humber region.
What we did
Outcome
We designed and built five websites, each tailored with bespoke features to maximise engagement and functionality with their target audience. Our specialist teams in content, design and web development combined their expertise to ensure each platform was optimised for organic search traffic and included high-quality content capable of engaging with communities across the Humberside area. This web content was further supported by a series of further digital and print assets to bring the individual brands to life across multiple platforms.
Craft CMS. Web Development. Web Design.
Web Design & Development
The three new schemes each required websites with their own bespoke features to suit different target audiences. This included options such as regional filters to aid navigation through a wide range of youth activities, downloadable resources for specialist staff or a journey-based design that walked the user through the various stages of reporting a crime.
A new Youth Connect website was also designed and developed with its own distinctive look and feel, while we opted for a Craft multi-site model for the fifth platform in the clientโs brief. This allowed us to create a public-facing website for the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner with separate corporate and volunteer platforms hosted within the same CMS to ensure separation of internal and external communications.

Design. Branding.
Design
After developing the brand names and identities for each of the three new schemes, we worked with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner team to create brand guidelines, internal documents and digital campaign assets to support each website. Careful consideration was given to each of the brand identities to ensure appropriate colours and design were applied to each target audience, while other marketing materials included PowerPoint presentation templates, lanyards and business cards.
