Brief

St Cuthbert’s Trust asked us to refresh their brand identity and bring consistency across all their schools. This included the creation of a new trust logo, unified school branding, and a flexible logo system for future academies. We were also tasked with redesigning the Trust’s website, rebuilding each school site, and creating a standalone site for their teacher training arm, VNHTT.

Outcome

The refreshed brand architecture has created clear visual consistency across all schools in the Trust. A new templated website design means each school benefits from a modern, accessible site, while remaining easy to manage and update. The launch of VNHTT’s new site has driven a measurable increase in engagement, helping the training programme promote its offer with clarity and confidence.

Web Design & Development

We developed a flexible website template using Craft CMS, to deliver consistent functionality and visual style across all Trust and school websites. Sites were launched on a staggered basis to manage content and stakeholder input efficiently. We also designed and built the Vantage North Humber Teacher Training website from the ground up, tailored to promote teacher training pathways and support partnership with St Mary’s College. The result has been stronger engagement and clearer user journeys.

Design

We collaborated closely with the Trust’s marketing team to establish a unified visual identity. We created a master logo system with adaptable rules for individual school logos, ensuring consistency across signage, uniforms, and digital materials. Our design team also delivered new prospectuses for St Mary’s College and Sixth Form, using photography from our own shoots to maintain visual cohesion and impact across all collateral.

Marketing & Comms

During the return to school after the Covid pandemic, we supported internal comms with a campaign focused on safety and reassurance. We created a clear, accessible information video for parents and carers, explaining new procedures and expectations. This was supported by on-site signage, highlighting distancing, handwashing, and movement protocols. The materials helped to build trust and reassurance among families during a challenging period.

Feedback from parents and carers was overwhelmingly positive, with many saying they felt reassured by proactive and transparent communication from the Trust.
