Brief

We were commissioned to design and install a range of custom wall and window graphics that would enrich the school’s learning spaces. The graphics needed to be curriculum-relevant, aligned with the school’s values, and tailored to various departments including science, languages and geography. The first phase was required in time for a key open evening.

Outcome

The resulting graphics transformed interior and exterior spaces with vibrant, subject-specific visuals. They enhanced the student environment, helped communicate the school’s ethos, and created a greater sense of pride for pupils and staff. The first installation was completed on time for the open evening, with excellent feedback from attendees and school leaders.

Design

We delivered the project end-to-end, beginning with a site survey to assess surfaces and measure up. Working collaboratively with the school, we defined a creative brief that reflected the curriculum and school identity. Our team advised on the best materials for each application,  using vinyl for walls and one-way Contravision for windows, ensuring light and visibility from the inside.

Designs were custom-created for key areas including Science, Geography, Modern Foreign Languages, Drama, and the Library. We incorporated cut-out shapes and bold colours to increase impact and engagement. Our production team managed installation during term-time, fitting seamlessly around lessons and ensuring everything was ready for the open evening.

Project highlights:

  • Custom graphics tailored to subject areas and values
  • Specialist material guidance for each application
  • Installed in time for open evening without disrupting school timetable
  • Uplifted the environment for both students and staff
